 Who We Are

Paws with Purpose CIC is a Community Interest Company committed to enhancing lives through the power of animal-assisted therapy. Our specially trained dogs work alongside children and teenagers, helping them achieve their best potential in educational and emotional settings.

🦮 Your Role as a Volunteer Handler

As a volunteer handler, you'll be at the heart of our mission, working directly with therapy dogs to bring comfort, support, and joy to those who need it most. Your dedication can make a real difference in someone's life!

What We Offer:

• Free Comprehensive Training: Gain valuable skills in:

  • Safety protocols

  • Communication techniques

  • Safe dog handling

  • Therapy techniques

• Flexible Scheduling: We ask for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per month, allowing you to balance volunteering with your other responsibilities.

• Personal Growth: Experience the reward of helping others while developing new skills and expanding your network.

 CRB Check Process

To ensure the safety of all participants, we require a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check for all volunteers. Here's how it works:

1. You'll need to obtain the CRB check at your own cost initially.

2. After your first month of dedicated volunteering, we'll refund the cost of your CRB check.

This process helps us maintain the highest standards of safety and trust in our program.
